Android Tablet will not boot

10.1 Google Android Tablet PC A20 8G/1G Allwinner.

The problem is the Tablet will not boot. My friend was playing a game when it suddenly shut down and came to this screen. Now no matter what I do, it stays on this screen.

I allowed the battery to die and when I plugged in the power cord, it automatically went to this screen, I did not touch the poweron button. Anyone with Ideas?

Look for a tiny hole in the side of your device.... You can use a paper clip to insert into the hole, which will often reset your device.

Ok I have an Allwinner 7inch prontotec tablet and im guessing like me, you bought it from amazon. I have a quick fix, make sure the battery is at least 14%, turn off, stand for 10 secs, then press and hold the power and volume down buttons and release as soon as the screen turns on, scroll usong the volume buttons down to facrory reset and press the power button to select. Once done scroll to reboot system. If not once try a few times like I have had to and it will work. Now this android system like mine would be made by a developer brought from android open source project and you will tell by looking at the build number, if at the end of the description says test-keys then it definatley is. I strongly suggest taking off the whole android system itself through a pc and re-installing a new one following youtube videos on it. If you dont you will have constant issues with it. This android system was made by people who dont know how to build it properly.

I can’t see the screen image, so I’m going to take a guess and say it’s the splash screen. Are you certain that the battery totally discharged (I assume that you can’t pull the battery)? It might be worth trying again, just to be sure. You can try to boot into recovery, usually that means holding down a series of buttons, and it differs by model, and I’m not familiar with yours. Try a combination of the power button, up/down volume, home button (if it has one), camera (if it has one). If that works you will boot up to a text menu, and one of the options will be a factory reset. It’s a last resort, but if it is the only option, it beats a bricked tablet. If it is rooted and you made a nandroid backup, you can restore that instead of a factory reset, of course.

I tried to hold down the buttons to boot into text but the power button seems not to respond to anything. As soon as I plug in the power , the screen goes to  and says "Powered By..." and stays in that mode. The power button does not respond. Help
