How to resolve router connectivity issue - red X over network connection icon?

I have a new Asus CM series PC that I can’t get to connect to the internet. It tells me that I’m disconnected and displays a red X on top of the network connection icon. I’m using a Netgear router, and when I connected it to my laptop it worked. What should I do to resolve this?

Check your router is connected to your modem and computer properly and restart your all devices and then check if you are not getting internet then you have to reset your router and reconfigure it.
First you should make sure about network connection. your router should be connected to the modem and computer properly.
Now you need to power cycle your devices and wait for 20 seconds. finally try to access the internet.
If it is still not working then you need to go ahead and reset your router and reconfigure it.
