Is there really a school for hackers?

PCWorld has an article where they were talking about a hacking school set up by Anonymous and Lulzsec. Is this for real, or were they just speaking figuratively? And what kind of a threat does it pose to our network?

Here's an article with some background that you might find interesting, ncharles.

Hacker School
http://crowdleaks.org/hacker-school/

Snippet:

"A school set by Anonymous hackers has been running for about two months now. The school offers to teach anyone how to be a computer hacker for 35USD. You can find their website here: http://www.canthack.us/

Classes are run by any one of 5 instructors 3 times a week in their chatroom. The lessons cover areas like how to remain anonymous and how to take advantage of badly designed computer systems.

The school itself seems to have no official agenda other than to produce as many competent hackers as possible but most of the teachers seem to have various flavours of the antisec philosophy toward hacking."

There is probably no official school where people learn to be hackers. If there was, the FBI would be all over it, because hackers interfere with interstate commerce affairs.
