How can I convert my company's Flash-based website to work on the iPad?

Apple's IOS-based devices (iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch) can't read Adobe Flash, and we would like for our website to be available to people who use those devices (like our company's president). Any suggestions for converting from Flash to HTML5?

All said before is true, besides only a few automated conversion tools, there are plenty of manual conversion services.

The major question with all of thes is - what's the outcome? What quality? Can the JavaScript source code be re-used? Is it readable or even editable?

These are the value promises of pixelplant - a fully automated Flash to HTML5 conversion engine. Continously being developed to cover more and more Flash features...

An easy socution is to create a simple mobile site and mantain your current Flash one if you happy with it. So mobile users will be redirected to the mobile one and desktop to the flash one.

that's good but not to much, because it won't help you a lot when you want to convert a more complex flash app like games. The best way is still using outsourcing, hire a developer and pay him, and you will get exactly what  you need and even better if your budget is attractive. I did converted already a flash game to iphone and android using an amazing team of developers from http://www.codeonsale.com/ , they provide everything, even copyrights to sell it, it is pretty all I needed.

Okay, this is some pretty cool news. Google has just released a new product to Labs, called Swiffy. It's purpose? To convert flash sites to HTML5

Here's an article with a bit of background on Swiffy for those who aren't familiar with it.

Google's Swiffy makes Flash files HTML5 friendly
http://news.cnet.com/8301-27076_3-20075135-248/googles-swiffy-makes-flas...

"A new tool from Google Labs called Swiffy is taking aim at Flash files on the Web by converting them to HTML5 for use on devices without Flash capabilities.
Flash authors who come to Google with their SWF files can run it through the Swiffy converter, which splits it into a JSON file, then renders it with HTML, Scalable Vector Graphics, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). As a result of the process, Google says the converted files have rendering performance that's "quite good," with a file size that's "slightly larger" than the original.

Google's tool joins Wallaby, a similar effort from Adobe, which debuted earlier this year. It turns FLA-formatted files into HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS. That tool was initially designed as a way for developers to develop and port ads for iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches, and any other devices without Flash capabilities."

Yeap Google Swiffy is a nice and free tool for converting small flash files like Flash banners or Flash menus, but as far as I can see the question here was about converting the full website from Flash to HTML5 or whatever compatible technology to iPad, iPhone, iOS...

So I would say that Swiffy is not the real answer here but more companies/websites offering affordable solutions for converting Flash elements or full websites from Adobe Flash format to HTML5 / Wordpress / Joomla formats. I guess there is much more here involved that just a simple auto-conversion script.

One of the affordable solutions that I know is Convert Flash Website .There is also this company that seems to be working in the same field. I have asked for quotations and their prices are completely acceptable. They respond within 1h-2h so you can see it for yourself. This topic has been opened 2 years ago but seems to be quite interesting even today.

INCORRECT

Swiffy, is not the silver bullet for Flash Site owners who need to convert their site.

1 - It will NOT convert your flash site into a mobile-friendly HTML5 version.
