Does the recent security breach at Apple’s iOS Dev Center pose any risk to consumers?

Is the risk limited to developers, or do Apple iOS users need take any additional steps to protect themselves?

I haven't read anything that indicates this is a threat to consumers. It's always disturbing to see this happen, but there doesn't see to be anything to worry about from a consumer's point of view.

From what I understand, I don’t think consumers need to worry too much. However, I have been hearing some reports of people (user people, not developer people) receiving emails since the breach that claim to be from Apple, but are actually attempts to phish for passwords. This could be a mere coincidence or someone trying to use this incident to take advantage of people’s concern, but I cannot rule out that it is more directly related.
