How to install Windows 8.1 on Fujitsu tablet?

I tried to install the Windows 8.1 my Fujitsu Arrows Tab, which came with Windows 8. I get an error message that tells me Windows 8.1 is not supported. How can it be compatible with Windows 8 but not 8.1, which is “just” an update? Is there a work around or anything I can do to install 8.1, or am I just out of luck?

Isn't Windows 8.1 still in preview? I don't think the final release is until August. It would be better to wait until then and you probably would have an easier time installing it.

Hey, Harryner, some Arrows Tab came with Windows 8. TThey haven’t been out for very long, and I’m not even sure they have been released in all markets. Until just a few days ago, the 8.1 Preview was not available for machines with 32 bit Atom SoC processors (like the Arrows Tab QH55), but Microsoft made some new drivers available that resolved the issue. I looked into it a little, and for some reason, Fujitsu Arrows Tabs are one of the only devices that are still blacklisted for the upgrade. Microsoft is aware of it, and I’m sure Fujitsu is as well, especially since these tablets are aimed at enterprise users. I’m afraid you are going to have to wait for them to resolve the issue.

Windows 8.1 is the PC operating system rather than the mobile operating system.Tablet can only support mobile os such as windows phone, android , iOS and more.
