How to completely uninstall Flash on MacBooks?

Is there a way to completely get rid of Flash in OS X. I have ClickToFlash installed, but with Safari, many websites treat it as if I am using Flash and continue to try to use it instead of HTML5.

Kreiley has the right answer. I got rid of flash ages ago, and I don't miss it. If you really need to run a flash video or whatever, use Google Chrome since flash is built into it.

You will need to go to Adobe’s website and install the appropriate uninstaller. http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-mac-os.htm...

Follow the instructions, but you might have to type ~/Library to find some of the Flash files that you want to delete from your Library.
