How to save Snapchat images?

I understand that Snapchat is supposed to be a way to exchange private photos that self-destruct after a short period of time. Key words = “supposed to be.” Can the images actually be saved without the sender’s permission?

If you want to save the photo shared by others on Snapchat without notifying them, you need to apply the third-party tools like Snapkeep (for iOS), Snapseeker (for Android) to take snapshot on Snapchat.

Whilst Snapchat is intended to be a secure method of communication of pictures, its not really designed that way. Once a user has downloaded an image it is possible to save it through screen capture or an alternative application such as a Snapchat PC app.
