How much do you worry about your karma on Reddit?

If you are a Redditor, you know what I’m talking about. If not, I suppose the answer would be “not at all.” I try not to obsess about it, but often I find that I do, and take it personally when I get downvoted. How much does it matter to most people? Do you just accept and move on, or cry in your coffee about it?

I wouldn't worry about it, it has no real meaning in the grand scheme of things. It's just a little ego boost when you get voted up.

It matters to most people that are Redditors, I think. It’s a sort of reaffirmation that what you have to say is of some worth, however little it may be. Plus, you do get called out if you are an idiot, so by virtue of not getting a lot of downvotes, I feel as if it is less likely that I am a moron. I don't stay up nights worrying about it though.
