Youtube isn't loading correctly

I been having problems with using youtube lately, everytime I try loading up a video to watch there is a messege saying to install adobe flash player. so, I download the flash player, but it also wants me to install google chrome( which I don't use). After the install I go back to watch a video on youtube and yet again it says to install adobe flash player. How do I fix this problem? ( Very Frustrating).

I see you have two answers already on this, but you might want to check the Adobe Flash Player help page too:

YouTube doesn't require Chrome to play, so I'm not sure why it is telling you that. It may be suggesting it since Google=YouTube=Chrome, but I know with 100% certainty you don't have to use Chrome. It does require an updated version of Flash, and not just Shockwave, but it sounds like you have that covered.

What you could try is the HTML5 opt-in trial (uses HTML5 instead of Flash to play videos). They are still working the bugs out, but is does support Firefox 4. I'd rather depend on HTML5 than Flash anyway.

Try downloading and installing it from this Adobe page. Make sure it says "Installation successful" at the end.

If that doesn't work, check some of the Adobe Flash-related issues in YouTube's Help forum.
