What's the best browser for Linux?

Is there a standout browser for Linux? I've had a long time to learn the ups and downs of the IE/Firefox/Chrome trifecta for Windows, but I'm still learning the different Linux distros, and have just been using Firefox on Linux. Are there better choices?

My vote goes to Chromium. It is simply the best.

Chromium is a great choice, though Firefox also works very well. I suggest trying both and seeing what you like best.

Also, check your distro's software manager for other options as well. Poke around and see if there other browsers that you might enjoy using.

There are a lot of options, actually. Firefox is ok. I agree with the article Christopher cited that Chrome is solid as well. If you are looking for something other than the browsers you use on Windows, give Flock a try; I liked it.

This writer at Lifehacker likes Chrome, but many of his readers do not. Other readers elsewhere have cited Chromium (Chrome's open-source version) and Opera.

Browsers are pretty easy to assess on your own, so I'd try some out and pick the one that works best for you.
