How to disable lock screen on Windows 8?

I use a lock screen on my phone, but I don't need or want it on my PC at home. Windows 8 puts a lock screen up whether I want it or not, and it just makes me have to skip it to get to my actual log-in. Is there a way to stop the lock screen from coming up every time?

Through the Screen Saver, you can easily disable auto lock screen on your computer: Right click on the desktop, select "Personalize", click Screen Saver, uncheck "On resume, display logon screen" and click OK. Or you can view other methods to do the disable here: http://blog.doofix.com/how-to-disable-the-lock-screen-in-windows-8-and-w.... Hope this helps you!

Here is another method. It requires you cut and paste a little code, but nothing difficult.

Enter the text below into Notepad, then name it something like "disablelockscreen.reg" and save it (with the .reg extension). Double click the file to add it to the registry.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Personalization]

"NoLockScreen"=dword:00000001

Restart your PC and you should be good to go.
