How to recover router password?

The person who set the password on our router left the company and now no one can find the password. Is there a way to recover the password, or are am I going to have to go to the router store? It's a Linksys unit, incidentally. Thanks.

Actually I also have the same problem like you. I want to recover router password as well.  Finally I read an article about how to find  wireless router's password in 2 situations. You can check out the link. Hope it helpful to you.

This article should help:

How to Recover Linksys Router Password

"A Linksys router is used to connect a network of computers together to establish a connection with a network or the Internet. If you use a Linksys router to connect your home network or the network within an organization, there are several steps you can take to recover a Linksys router password in the event you have forgotten it or it is lost."

You can check the solution from visiting different sites and try to solve the issue.you can try also thi one 1.You could reset the router, with power on.
( with a ballpen refill point ). to restore factory defaults.
2.Usually the id is admin and password admin, or password
unless you set a different one.
3.To access your router open IE and type IP address.

You can physically reset the router. Most Linksys routers have a recessed little button on the back or side that you have to push and hold. This will change it back to factory default settings, which includes reverting the admin password back to factory default. If you don't have the documentation, you can probably find the default password online by model number (Which is why it's a good idea to change it!).
