How to recover router password?

The person who set the password on our router left the company and now no one can find the password. Is there a way to recover the password, or are am I going to have to go to the router store? It's a Linksys unit, incidentally. Thanks.

open your browser and go to router setup page. once you will be there then you need to click on wireless option. now click on wireless security.
here you will able to see your password. so you can simply write it down.

You can check the solution from visiting different sites and try to solve the issue.you can try also thi one 1.You could reset the router, with power on.
( with a ballpen refill point ). to restore factory defaults.
2.Usually the id is admin and password admin, or password
unless you set a different one.
3.To access your router open IE and type IP address.

You can physically reset the router. Most Linksys routers have a recessed little button on the back or side that you have to push and hold. This will change it back to factory default settings, which includes reverting the admin password back to factory default. If you don't have the documentation, you can probably find the default password online by model number (Which is why it's a good idea to change it!).
