Security features for multifunction printers

What are the basic security features I need to consider in a multi-function printer - for a mid-size financial business?
See this article for some potential security issues.

A Hidden Security Threat: Beware the Office Multifunction Printer

"Cybercriminals are always looking for easy ways to break into your network, whether at work or at home. In a talk at this summer's DefCon 19 conference, security researcher Deral Heiland demonstrated various ways to compromise Internet-ready consumer-grade multifunction printers. These include printers that can scan to a file, scan to email, and fax documents, and the vulnerabilities he found are similar across all vendors."

The main things I would look for are built in disk encryption, automatic disk wiping, and automatic log wiping.  Just make sure to enable all of them, they may not be turned on by default depending on manufacturer. Also, a good printer should include a network firewall, which you should also enable. If the printers you are looking at have a web based interface, make sure that you use a strong password for it.
