How do you like Facebook's move to Timeline?

I have to admit that I'm not a huge Facebook user personally, but that may be because I have to administer about a half-dozen Facebook pages for our company and affiliates. That's more than enough time spent on Facebook for me, thank you very much. The new timeline format gets put into place tomorrow, and there are a lot of people complaining about it. After my initial groan that accompanies most new things that I have to deal with, I found that I actually like it, at least for "my" business pages. What is the consensus on the Timeline? Overall, do most people like it or hate it?

I get a little tired of Facebook always changing things up, for what often seems like no good reason.  I could see the big photo thing working well for companies, it is a nice place to put up a branding image, but for individuals, I agree with jimlynch; it is big and annoying.  Maybe I will get used to it over time, but at the moment I don't see much of a benefit from it for individual users. I also don't like being forced to change whether I like it or not, even though I can understand Facebook's desire for uniformity.

I hate the big photo that appears at the top of the page. I turned mine off. It's so useless and takes up so much space.

In general I think it just makes for a messy, confusing interface. I don't care for it but others may disagree.

Facebook just can't seem to leave things alone, they insist on adding "features" even when people don't want them. It would be better if people had the option to totally opt out of Timeline and other unwanted features.
