What is a good choice for a cable validator/certifier?

I have to test dozens of cables that are destined for use in a data centre that someone else has already tested for continuity. I do not think that this is at all adequate for this purpose, so I want to go back and make certain that they are all Cat6a compliant. Any suggestions for a good validator/certifier?

A LanTek II should work for you.  They are not cheap, a 350MHz with Cat6 adaptors will run almost $7,000, but it is a quality bit of equipment. You definitely need to test for more than continuity for data center use, and a LanTek II will ensure that the cable will actually pass data at speed.

I suggest doing a search on the following term minus the quotes: "cable certifier cat6a"

I did one but I wasn't sure which of the results would be best for you. There were some things I noticed such as the LanTEK cable certifier, but it's really outside of my experience so it's best if you browse the search results yourself to see what makes the most sense for you.

Good luck, I hope you find one that works well for you.
