How to autosave web pages in Chrome so I can view them offline?

One of my favorite pubs is run by neo-luddites and they refuse to offer public Wi-Fi. I still love the place and it’s not uncommon for me to go have lunch and do a little work while I’m there. Is there a way I can configure the Chrome browser to save web pages so that I can view cached pages when I’m somewhere without an internet connection?
From a computer navigate to the page, click the three line menu icon on the to right, click More tools> Save page as. You can also get to the menu by pressing Ctrl+S, or Command+S on a Mac. The file type should we Webpage, Complete. When you're offline open the HTML file that got created.
