How to disable HDMI-CEC on Chromecast?

I have a few different HDMI-CEC enabled devices hooked up to my TV (PS3, PS4 and Chromecast) but when the PS3 or PS4 is turned on, after turning on the TV as it should, this powers up the USB port that provides power to the Chromecast. Unfortunately, then the Chromecast switches the input to itself, so I have to manually switch it back to the PS3 or PS4 input. Annoying. Anyway to avoid this by disabling HDMI-CEC on the Chromecast?
HDMI-CEC is turned on by default. I went through the settings options in the official Chromecast app, and couldn't find a way to disable it. About the best I can come up with, and this is not a very good option, is unplug the Chromecast from the USB port so it isn't powered until you want to use it. I know, I know...this is not a good solution. The only other thing that I can think of is to check your TV settings and see if there is an option to turn off power to the USB port. I have never seen this option before and it's a long shot, but it might be worth taking a look.
