How can I block access to individual websites on my PC during set times?

I’m not always very good at staying away from online distractions when I’m working. It’s just too tempting to resist the pull of ESPN, Reddit, etc., and I can end up wasting a lot of time, which means a longer day because the work still has to be done before I call it quits. Is there a software option that will allow me to block individual websites during certain hours? I’m not looking for network monitoring or blocking software, I just want something to remove the temptation during work hours while still allowing access at other times. Is there anything out there that would work for this?
There's a number of ways to do this, you can install a browser specific plugin, or block the sites on your router which would effect all browsers and all systems on the network (if you want)
There's a good article I came across covering different options to get this accomplished.

This PCWorld article explains how to block sites through the router.
