How to connect hard drive to XBox One?

I bought a TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 2TB 64MB CACHE SATA3(6.0Gb/S) 3.5" internal hard drive. I also bought an I/O MAGIC ENCLOSURE WITH A 2.0 USB. Well, I tried to connect this hard drive to my XBox One for more storage and it is supposed to recognize it but the XBox One is not connecting to the hard drive. It said to connect with a 3.0 USB...could that be the problem?
The problem is almost certainly the use of USB 2.0. As far as I know, a USB 3.0 connection is required for the XBox One. It makes sense if you think about it - the max (theoretical) transfer speed of USB 2.0 is a fraction of that of USB 3.0, 480MB/s vs. 5GB/s.

Sorry, but you need to make another purchase.
No I haven't. How is that done
Did you try formatting the drive?

Lol I.guess so bro. Thanks I'm hoping that this will resolve the problem but that seem like a big difference in USB
