How to fix problem with Windows 10 upgrade?

Upgraded from win 7 to 10. Screen just flashing on & off. No icons when flashing?Seems like it's trying to kick in. I wish I kept to win 7. But can't do that either. Help please
Can you access anything, or is it getting stuck while trying to boot up? If you can open the start menu, you should be able to to to Settings, then click on Update and Security>Recovery. If you can get to this point, you can revert to Windows 7.
Hi. I cant get into start menu. that is flashing on/off too on the bottom tool bar.
Ok, then I would try to boot into safe mode and restore Windows 7 from there (assuming that's what you want to do). Unfortunately this can be a little trickier on Windows 10 than Windows 7 or 8. Tom's Hardware has a good guide on two ways to do it with Windows 10 -
I agree with Marston, but if that fails you need to do a clean install of windows. If you still want to give Windows 10 a shot you can create a bootable usb with the install (though you'll need a working computer to do this on.)
Thanks Marston, Sveta and cchecca. I'll try that. Let you know when it works.
