PST File used by another program and unable to fix

I have a corrupted pst file. I used norton go back to get older version of pst file. Scanpst tool did not work. The error message was file was used by another program. the task manager shows no other program operating. Would any of the virus program or spy ware be using. how do i change file out?
ok. I'll try use your advice now.
You will need to use the New-MailboxRepairRequest to repair the corrupted archive mailbox. Run the below command in the Exchange Management Shell to detect and repair for all corruption types on the mailbox:
New-MailboxRepairRequest -Mailbox User -CorruptionType ProvisionedFolder,SearchFolder,AggregateCounts,Folderview -Archive
Keep in mind that the mailbox cannot be accessed while the repair runs. You can use the Get-MailboxRepairRequest cmdlet to check the status of the repair. See the below articles for more information on these cmdlets.

You can try rebooting and trying again, also make a copy of the pst file and try to load the copy.
