Just to add to alice.hammacher response, the router internal ip address can be found by going to the command prompt (type in cmd in the run or search window).
In command prompt type in ipconfig and press Enter.
The Default Gateway will show the address you need. It should look something like this:

Also the default login is usually admin for both username and password, however can vary by model.
1)Open the web browser that you use: Firefox,Google Chrome,IE,or Opera and type in the IP address for your router, and press the Enter key.

2)A window will open and then type in your routers default username and password, and press the Enter key again

3)Navigate to the Wireless Security\Network Security Settings Tab and open it to locate or change your WEP or WPA Security Passphrase.
Use WPA because it provides better security.

4)Write this Security Passphrase down and put it in a safe place to access when needed.

5)Save settings and close your browser.
I can't help you directly, but here's a link to the Asus support page. You can probably fine your wireless router listed there, and you might be able to find instructions on how to password protect it.
