If I update my server because of WS2003 EOL, can I still use the same hardware?

Will it be possible to use the same hardware if I update to a newer version of Windows Server because of Windows Server 2003 reaching end of life?
Depends on your current hardware. Microsoft lists the following MINIMUM requirements for Server 2012:

1.4 GHz (64-bit processor) or faster for single core

1.3 GHz (64-bit processor) or faster for multi-core

2 GB of RAM

160 GB hard disk with a 60 GB system partition

More information is available from Microsoft Technet:
Yes one can use the same hardware there is no problem with the updation of server.
