What are the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 10?

I’ve had a Compaq Windows 7 laptop for a few years, and I’m curious whether I will be able to upgrade to Windows 10. Does anyone know the hardware requirements to install Windows 10?
Last month, Microsoft revealed Windows 10 hardware requirements through the Windows Hardware Engineering conference in China. Here's what they said for both mobile and PCs running Windows 10.

For Windows 10 PCs:

2GB for 64-bit
1GB for 32-bit

>=16 GB for 32-bit OS
>=20 GB for 64-bit OS

DirectX 9

For mobile phones:
512MB for 32-bit
>= 4 GB of flash
SD Card is required for 4GB devices in order to support updates

DirectX 9

If your current laptop has the minimum required above, then you can definitely upgrade to Windows 10. :)
