Troubleshooting Windows 8.1 black screen on boot?

Hi all,
My computer does not display anything when powered on. Here are the system specifications:
HP Pavilion p6267c-bhttp://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01894996
OS: Windows 7 (upgraded to Windows 8.1, clean install)
8GB DDR2 RAM
750GB HDD
Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 @2,5 Ghz

OK, so here's what happened:
I wanted to repartition my hard drive so I could dual boot Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 Technical Preview. I opened disk management and tried to shrink the partition, but it only showed 1172 MB available. So I installed EaseUS Partition Master and created a new partition, 33GB, Primary, NTFS. I remember the boot drive being marked as Logical. When I restarted, the computer showed a black screen. I heard it turning on normally, but it wasn't displaying anything, no cursor,or BIOS. The monitor went into sleep mode and couldn't detect a signal. Any suggestions? I've tried booting into BIOS or using recovery media, but nothing.
