How to configure AT&T U-Verse router for Open DNS or Google Public DNS?

I was having an issue where my Chromebook and PS3 would disconnect from the internet at random times, as well as when I would wake the Chromebook from sleep/standby status. I found that switching the DNS to Google Public DNS solved the problem for my Chromebook, and I’d like to make the change on all of my devices. I went into my router settings (2-Wire from AT&T) but I can’t figure out how to change the DNS settings. It would be much easier to change it at the router instead of going into each device’s settings. How can I configure the 2-Wire U-Verse router to direct to either Open DNS or Google Public DNS?
Set Up a second router. Not too difficult. Found this article and it works like a charm. Needed to do it since I have AT&T and the Gateway they use does not allow you to alter the DNS entries for OPEN DNS.

Use the LAN to WAN configuration and set the DNS on the second router. : http://www.wikihow.com/Connect-Two-Routers
Looks like Billy has the right answer for this.
You can’t with AT&T. You could add a second router and set your first for bridge mode, but the easiest way is to just change the settings on your computers and other connected devices. I know, I know...it's a pain to do every device separately, but it only takes a minute or two each. You should check it out before you do it though, and make sure that you will actually see an improvement. Google has a tool called Namebench that will test a bunch of DNS servers to see what is fastest. You can run it on Windows, OS X or Linux. It will take a while to complete the test, so be patient. https://code.google.com/p/namebench/
