How important is SVVP validation for cloud providers?

I’m curious if it is an issue that AWS is not SVVP validated? Does this cause any problems with Microsoft workloads on AWS?
David has a good answer for this.
SVVP is th server virtualization validation program. It is a policy that allows administrators running running Windows Server on virtualization technologies other than Hyper-V and Microsoft Virtual Server to receive technical support for Windows Server from Microsoft. For example, VMware is one of those so certified.

This is not an issue according to AWS:
AWS does not need to be SVVP validated for customers to be fully supported running Microsoft workloads on AWS. As Microsoft explains: “SVVP does not apply to vendors that are hosting Windows Server or other Microsoft products through the Microsoft Service Provider License Agreement Program.
