Unfortunately, Surfaces are notoriously difficult to repair. If you send it in to Microsoft, it will cost you around $300 for a screen replacement. This is actually cheaper than it used to be. A year or so ago, it was over $400 to replace the screen. You might be able to get a local repair shop to replace it for less, but I’d want to make sure that they have a good reputation, that they are familiar with the Surface and use quality replacement parts. Even with a "cheap" local repair, I'd be surprised if you can get the screen replaced for less than $200.
