How to fix a corrupt ZIP file

I thought my computer had a virus, but it turns out that after downloading DrWEB and running the boot scan I found that my Zip Archive is corrupted. Can someone please tell me how to fix this?

Corrupt zip file can be repair easily by using advanced repair feature by WinRAR. To know how to use this advanced winRAR Repair utility visit the link: http://recoveryandmanagement.com/2014/09/16/repair-corrupted-zip-rar-tar-gz-7z-in-windows/
Don't use any recovery or repair tool before using the WinRAR program. WinRAR tool has a built-in repair feature that can repair corrupt archive file, i.e. ZIP and RAR. Follow the steps:

1. Open your WinRAR application in your system.
2. Now click File tab > Open. Or you may simply press Ctrl+O.
3. A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt ZIP archive from your system directory and select it.
4. Now click Open button.
5. Click Tools tab > Repair archive. Or you may simply press Alt+R.
6. Again a small window "Repairing File name.zip" will pop up.
7. Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
8. Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as ZIP" and click OK.

WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt ZIP archive. Once it gets completed click Close.
You can use zip recover tool. Depends on whether the corruption is too serious or not, it could be recovered with some tools. Ziprecover tool.
This might be a useful utility:

Recover your ZIP archive from your backup (You did make a backup didn't you ?)

It is unlikely that your existing corrupt ZIP can be fixed.

But it is possible to try the tool recovery:

Corrupted zip recovery tool can easily replace WinZip archiver or any other compatible utility, but besides the decompression of normally openable documents, it accesses corrupted ones.

There are several options that are available to you in order to try and fix your zip file. You can try using a linux distro with an archive manager to load the zip (may or may not work) or you can utilize a number of programs to recover the zip (or attempt to atleast) DiskInternals ZIP Repair has been rated as one of the top repair programs that you can use to recover a broken zip file. There are a few other programs that you can use but those are paid programs. I would recommend trying DiskInternals first. Please let me know how it goes!
