How to know if my cellphone is being tracked

I believe that someone is tracking my cellphone.   He knows everything about me and my whereabouts.  How can I find out more about this and where can I check on my phone if such a program is installed.   I have a Samsung Galaxy S3.

You can install the tracker app on your phone and define whether you are being monitored by someone.
Mobile phone tracking

"Mobile phone tracking refers to the attaining of the current position of a mobile phone, stationary or moving. Localization may occur either via multilateration of radio signals between (several) radio towers of the network and the phone, or simply via GPS. To locate the phone using multilateration of radio signals, it must emit at least the roaming signal to contact the next nearby antenna tower, but the process does not require an active call. GSM is based on the signal strength to nearby antenna masts.[1]"

I think the tracking aps install in your cellphone you can remote it from your cellphone.

A Parent or Legal Guardian can trace a dependants cellphone via the service provider within certain jurisdictions and under particular circumstances. This is not dependant upon location services being enabled, or so I'm led to believe.

Are reasonably sure that there is a tracking app installed on your phone? Of course it is possible, although the person responsible would almost certainly need to have had physical access to it.

Install and run an anti-malware app like Lookout or AVG or avast. Those are all free options available from Google Play. This may or may not identify any tracking apps, but it’s worth a try.

After that, if you feel confident that you are being tracked through your phone, you should consider a factory reset. Make sure that you’ve backed up any data and files that you want to retain. It’s a bit of a pain to reinstall everything, but it beats the alternative.

I also suggest that you change your passwords. If someone has access to your Google account, they can use the dashboard to follow every place you go, assuming you haven’t disabled it in settings. Also, always secure your device with a PIN or lock screen pattern to prevent someone with physical access from installing unwanted applications.
