Which is faster, a 7200rpm drive or a 5400rpm hybrid SSD?

I am looking at a new 2.5” HDD for a laptop, and am trying to choose between two different designs - a conventional 7200rpm drive or a 5400rpm hybrid SSD. Would the hybrid drive be faster than the faster running conventional drive?

Over time the hybrid will get faster as commonly used areas of the disc are identified and cached. This will be most noticeable on startup or when launching/using commonly used software. In other situations, the 7200rpm drive will be slightly faster.
