How to view websites offline on a Chromebook?

Is there a way to save web pages for later viewing on a Chromebook, even when you don’t have an internet connection?

‘Save to Google Drive’ Chrome Extension Makes Collecting Web Content A Breeze

"Save to Google Drive’ is a handy tool that lets you quickly and effortlessly save bits of the web to your Google Drive with a simple right-click.

With the extension you can:

Save images/web content with a right-click
Save entire webpages in a variety of formats from the tool-bar
Configure the add-on through various options and settings"

Install Pocket from the Chrome store. It will let you save complete web pages and view them offline. I think it will also sync across devices, but to be honest I only use it on my Chromebook. I’d put it in the “must have extension” category. It does mean that you have to plan ahead for offline viewing, though. https://getpocket.com/chrome/
